2 out of 3 street lights faulty

At bottom of Hamilton Road there are 3 street lights on the bend, the 2 outer ones are faulty, occasional red flickering light or nothing, dangerous as very little lighting there now, children, pets and many cars in vicinity, been like this for approx 2 months

  • Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

  • It’s not a private light, it’s a council owned street light. It’s very dark on this road now. Please come and fix asap.

  • Thank you for your report, can we please have the light number, or the number of the house they are based " for example outside number 0".

  • The 3 street lights are not outside a house, they are stand alone on the only bend on the road, you cannot miss them as they are the only 3 that are together

  • Ref:00364835 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 working days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you
