Road water drainage system completely blocked
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 13:59, Sun 15 December 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
The hall of the road surface water draining system from the church to the main road in old Wootton is blocked, and leads the silting and cleaning out. This has built up over many years through lack of maintenance. In frosty mornings there is a potential accident waiting to happen because the water is not training from the road and ice would be created.

I have reported this problem originally on 15th December and it's been investigated ever since with no action. Please see attached three more photos taken yesterday, showing two of the drains completely blocked and also a view of the road where the drains are at the bottom of Wootton village. The system is completely blocked and needs a total cleanout could you please investigate I hope to get something sorted as soon as possible.
