Slip hazard on pavement

Reported in the Pavements category anonymously at 09:22, Sat 14 December 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

There is a thick layer of slimey mud on the pavement opposite the butcher's shop (between the bus stop and the junction of Wood Lane with Peppard Road).

There are tyre marks nearby suggesting that the mud came from the grass verge, which has been churned up by a large vehicle.

The layer of mud is slippery and almost invisible for much of the time (as there are no street lights nearby). This makes a small area of pavement a potential accident zone.
