Storm drain STILL blocked
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 19:25, Fri 13 December 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
The above job has now been marked as fixed this is LIES I was here when the workmen came and found that the drainage pipe between two of the storm drains had collapsed and they marked my pavement and the nearest drain with an X and told me it would require digging up and replacement. It seems that Oxfordshire council and fix my street are nonsense and I’m shocked that people are allowed to operate like this.

During times of heavy rainfall Oxfordshire County Council are inundated with flooding issues meaning we have to prioritise issues that have been sent our way. Our sub-contractor, OPC, will be out to site at some point early in the new year to CCTV the drainage apparatus, find the break and fix accordingly. Should all this go well the catch pit that is non operational outside your house will become operational and will start to take the water from the gullies instead of them back filling and flooding the C/W and F/W.
Many Thanks,
Jack Payne

Still open, via questionnaire -
As you can see a drain is still blocked and the water is becoming an issue to the threshold of the house I’m tired of keep reporting this issue, at this point we have to question what Oxfordshire council actually do for the community they represent and so tomorrow morning I feel I’m forced into seeking legal advice in this matter. What a disappointing outcome!!!!!
