Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 3 minutes later

Traffic coming in from main road is going very fast. Lorries speeding on the road, this affects the houses on the road, and it is also dangerous. Customer would like to request for the signages or speed bumps.

  • Thank you for your report. Horsecroft is a residential road with no history of personal injury accidents in the last five year period, it is a 'no through road' so the nature of traffic is mainly residents accessing their properties. We would recommend that speed surveys are carried out to assess the extent of the issue, if your local Parish Council wishes to fund these we would be happy to arrange them on their behalf, Oxfordshire County Council do not have the available funding to carry out works at this location so any works proposed following the speed surveys would need to be externally funded.
