A few years ago I was broken into and the robbers climbed a tree at the back of my garden to gain access to my property you had It pruned then-and now it requires to be done again as it's approaching onto my property I've also had to move up my sky dish three times,because it's got so big Thanks Tony

We have visited site and assessed the trees in their location. OCC maintains land that is HMPE (highway maintainable at public expense) in its capacity as local highway authority. The trees referred to in the enquiry are on land that is not HMPE. You can access the land registry at: https://www.gov.uk/ search-property-information-land-registry to find details of the adjacent landowner to pursue your enquiry. It may also be appropriate to contact the District, Town or Parish Council to further your enquiry. You are also within your common law rights as a landowner to cut any overhanging or encroaching vegetation back to the boundary line of your property.
