Prescott Avenue, Banbury

Reported anonymously at 13:32, Wed 11 December 2019

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later

Wheelie bins persistently left in the street on the grass verge directly outside my house. This is all the time, looks unsightly and is unfair. Residents bring bins out from houses further up on to grass verge outside my house and they are basically left there all the time.

Council ref: ENQ19849930

  • Thank you for your report. Unfortunately, Highways have no enforcement powers to prevent people from leaving their wheely bins on the grass verges. The wheely bins are the responsibility of the residents. If you believe the bins to be abandoned, it may be worth addressing this with Cherwell district council, as the bins are their property.Thank you
