All street lights out on the south side of the Botley Interchange

All of the street lights on the south flyover of the Botley Interchange (A420) are non-functional. Street lighting is only working on the northern flyover.

  • Hi OCC,

    Yes these are the correct lights. I confirmed this evening that these lights are still non-functional on the roundabout flyover at the Botley Interchange.

  • Ref:00364131 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

  • Not fixed as of 6th January 2020. Lights now out on the northern flyover as well.

  • Not fixed as of 3rd March. I went by these lights last night and they are still non-functional.

  • Due to the COVID-19 pandemic I don't know whether these lights are fixed. Given traffic levels have declined enormously the issue is not particularly pressing until the pandemic has been tackled.
