Recurring flooding Junction of Oaksmere and A420

Reported in the Gully and Catchpits category anonymously at 14:18, Sun 8 December 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

Due to high levels of rain the gully on the junction of Oaksmere and the A420 has become blocked again. Flooding is now halfway across the road to the central island. Please arrange clearance as soon as possible as it causes a driving hazard when entering the A420 and also creates issues for pedestrians trying to access the only bus route that serves Appleton

  • Unfortunately nothing has yet been done about this blocked gully. The water is now nearly across the road (Oaksmere) to the traffic Island and is water is lapping the path making it difficult for pedestrians to reach the bus stop on the A420. This bus stop is the only one that serves the village of Appleton as we have no bus traveling through the village. Please clear as a matter of urgency.
