Large pothole on the left hand side of the road, along and down from the golf club, caused a puncture to my car causing a blow out and flat tyre.

The potholes along this road have been there for many months, they are periodically fixed but due to the heavy use of this road with lorries and tractors the holes are worsening. My car tyre lost pressure quickly and became flat, there was another vehicle just after I lost tyre pressure that had pulled over to change a tyre leading me to believe that there was either something sharp in the road or that it was the pot hole causing the punchers. This is an incredibly dangerous road and there is potential for a fatal accident should the road surface not be addressed especially with the weather. With the road being used more due to the roadworks between Bloxham and Banbury I feel the road should be risk assessed as soon as possible.
