Dangerous Blindspot

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 16:50, Wed 4 December 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Further to my last message about a blind spot at the intersection noted, I note that you wont put up a mirror. However I don’t accept that there isn’t another solution to help all the inhabitants of this route negotiate that intersection. People come out of cholsey on Westfield Road and gather speed anticipating a straight road. Turning out in front of them is treacherous. I now want to hear what other solutions there could be - PLEASE.

  • Thank you for your report. This is a private access so we cannot provide junction warning signs. However, if you know/are the land owner of the opposite field you could put up a mirror opposite as long as it is not on the public highway.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
