Street lights not working
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 06:48, Tue 3 December 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
Street lights not working in this part of the Bostock Road
Thank you for your report, to enable us to log the fault to the correct unit can you please advise using the attached map the street light number you are referring to. If the unit is not on the map this would not be owned/maintained by Oxfordshire County Council and would need to be reported to the developer/landowner direct. Unfortunately we do not keep records of private lights.

I phoned the Council yesterday using number on lamp posts and they claimed the lights had been fixed on 10 Dec. However, they have still not worked since beginning of December and so the Council has now logged the problem to be fixed AGAIN!!

Problem now fixed. The energy company found a short in the cable running between the lights which blew the fuse. Now fixed.
