Safety breach around tree on highway

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 14:14, Monday 2 December 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

We protect the trees on the sides of our roads so that they don't fall on us. The workmen laying cables on the road out of Kingham are in breach of the NJUG guidelines for safe installation of utilities. They are storing their machinery and heavy rolls of cable against the 1 tree in the hedge for miles. Photo taken this morning at 8.30 am and still the same at 10 am and presumably been there all weekend crushing the tree roots when it could have been stored anywhere else on the road.
