This road has been flooded for over a week now due to water not draining away . It was pumped out in the week but has refilled from the overflow from the nearby pond.

This has been a worsening problem for a while but the water usually drains away within a day or so. The problem has obviously worsened as this time it is not going anywhere. I presume a drain is blocked or damaged. Pedestrians have to "pick their moment" to pass by but if they are elderly or infirm they risk being showered by inconsiderate motorists going through too fast.
