Street light on column next to CCTV mast not working
Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 21:53, Thu 21 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
This lamp, (no number shown) is failing most days now and I believe should have priority status for repair as it provides essential illumination for the adjacent CCTV camera. Thank you.
Ref:00362957 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

This light still totally fails after being on for an hour or so. The fault has obviously not yet been fixed

Hello Despite reporting that this street light is not working several times, it is still not working. I confirm again, it is the light in Puck Lane Witney adjacent to 31 Gloucester Place and about 5 metres away from the Thames Valley Police CCTV camera mast.

Regarding the Faulty Street Light on Puck Lane, just of the Gloucester Place junction which doesn't have a number on it, as stated before, have spoken to WODC who has advised me to contact you regarding it not working and that it is needed for Thames Valley Police as it is near a CCTV Camera Mast, this was first reported in November, it will also need a guard on as the light reflects onto the CCTV Camera, the area is in complete darkness at night!
