Ref:00362875 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

I moved into a property on Lyne Road in early November, and I have been alarmed by how the house seems to rattle and shake whenever the double-decker buses pass. I noticed that there is extensive damage on the part of Lyne Road near my property, which may be causing the vibrations that I have felt (see photo attached).
Please note that I live on the edge of a conservation zone, in a property that was built in 1853. It was not built to withstand the kind of vibrations caused by double-decker buses hurtling over damaged roads -- especially given the sheer number of double-decker buses that seem to pass through Lyne Road.
I would appreciate reassurance of some kind. Are there plans to repair the damage on Lyne Road? Can you assure me that the vibrations caused by the double-decker buses aren't causing irreversible damage to my property (or indeed to the other old properties in the conservation zone)? Perhaps the council should consider lowering the speed limit on Lyne Road. And is there really a need for double-decker buses to pass through this part of Kidlington?
