Badly uneven road surface on the roundabout High Street Sutton Courtenay

Reported anonymously at 18:05, Wed 20 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and Vale of White Horse District Council 5 minutes later

General deteriorated road. Multiple uneveness of road surface, small potholes, small trenches in which a cycle tyre can (and did) lose traction and fall. The roundabout that connects Milton Road to the High Street and Harwell Road/ Sutton Coutenay Lane. Generally the road surface through Sutton Courtenay High Street is very bad. A cyclist needs to move all over the carriageway to avoid uneven trenches, inspection covers etc, but it is worse when turning on a roundabout

  • Glad to see that this is to be dealt with. But I would like you to look at the rest of the village. A cyclist has to weave all over the carriageway, especially along High Street, to avoid bad trenches and potholes. The potholes may be small to a car, but they are blooming painful for a cyclist, literally!
