Dangerous lane markings - A41 Graven Hill Roundabout
Reported in the Road Markings category anonymously at 16:50, Wed 20 November 2019

This was reported previously but the Council's reply missed the point. As there seems to be no way to respond to the Council once they deem a complaint to be closed, I have reported the same issue again. This is my reply to their response: Thank you for this detailed reply. However, it misses the point entirely.
"The outer lane of the A41 approaching this roundabout from the Bicester Village side is clearly marked A41E. However, halfway round the roundabout the lane to A41 effectively closes off, leaving traffic to either stop dead or try and filter across the lanes in order to exit on to A41E. This is where several collisions have occurred and more near misses than I can count (and I try to avoid it where possible).
There is a simple solution: remove the marking in the outside lane on the approach to the roundabout that says it is suitable for A41E. Only traffic turning right into Graven Hill would then use it, which is fine.
Please refer this back to your officers, as I don’t consider that your reply closes this matter. The current arrangement is very unsafe.
