Very deep, wide pothole near bend towards Lyford
Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 13:41, Wed 20 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
I reported this pothole yesterday (after it ripped a hole in my tyre on Monday when I could not avoid it due to oncoming traffic) & received a message to say it had been fixed. The pothole was still there this morning, but it is not showing on the map now. Has it been filled today?

Hit this last night. Made a horrendous smack under the car. Unavoidable. Please fix this whopper.

This pot hole is still here and now the red you see in the photo has disappeared as it's ever expanding.

Passed it again this morning. It’s huge and now full of water so very dangerous. Please can this at least be marked by a cone if it’s not going to be fixed.

This pothole has still not been dealt with last night it is extremely dangerous and will cause an accident as anyone who hits it will be travelling at speed. It is wholly unavoidable at night as it is unseen and the damage costs to the council will outweigh any repair costs.Needs urgent attention.

Hit this pothole and burst my tyre this evening. I see it has been reported weeks ago and no action taken. Tyre is shredded and possible alloy damage. Have had to leave car at the side of the road. Will go back tomorrow and take photos to try and claim. This could cost someone more than the price of a tyre if hit at speed due to being located on a bend where cars travel at speed. The council have a responsibility to keep the roads safe. They once again have failed

I hit this pothole last night which ripped open my front left tyre and damaged the rim. The pothole measures 50 inches long x 5 inches deep and is unavoidable when another car is approaching in the dark. I can see from other reports on here that it's been there for a while. It is unacceptable that a pothole this big has not yet been repaired, especially as it has been reported so many times. If a motorbike or cyclist were to hit it there may be much more serious consequences than a damaged tyre and wheel.
