Heavy traffic blocking Culham Science Park
Reported anonymously at 11:16, Tue 19 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 4 minutes later
There is heavy traffic at peak leaving times (usually 4 to 5.30 pm) from Culham Science park joining the A415. This causes a back log of cars on the Science park and a wait time of up to 30 minutes to just leave the campus. This has been an issue for 2 to 3 months The traffic from Culham Science site that is heading towards Abingdon has difficulty getting on the A415 (right hand turn) since the A415 traffic heading towards Clifton Hampden (left hand turn) is backed up. Have traffic lights placed at the junction of the A415 and Culham Science park exit been considered? This would allow traffic to move from all directions.

Abingdon Road, Culham about 50 Meters past the Culham laboratories heading towards Abingdon. There are road works taking place and the central road bollard is covered in temporary signage. Which totally obscures the bollard causing me to not it until it was too late. The in front swerved to miss it unfortunately I didn't. I have damage to wheels and tyres and possibly suspension. How do I make a claim

Thank you for your report. This location is currently being assessed to see if low cost measures can be installed to help the situation, I regret that there is insufficient funding available to install a fully signalised junction at this time.
