Road signs Headintton roundabout

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 10:15, Saturday 16 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

After reading the report in the Oxford Mail about the roundabout my son had a similar problem and old man decided he could ride around the roundabout all the way to Barton because the signage said Barton West which I believe it means the new build down the A40 he smashed in to my sons car and we had to pay knock for knock even though I believe he was in the wrong, the sign needs to say something more specific about what it means by Barton West or just put A40 Barton west. I would like to know how many accidents happen there because of this signage.

  • Thank you for your enquiry.Unfortunately you have placed the map marker in the wrong position (it has been put in Kidlington?). Please can you re-enter your enquiry in the correct place on the map as I believe this refers to the roundabout at Barton. Thank you.
