Unacceptable road flooding

Reported in the Drainage category anonymously at 11:09, Thursday 14 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later

Yet again this area is under water, getting deeper each time flooding occurs. Now the pavement is under threat. Clearly a blocked/damaged road drain which is not being adressed. Being at a road junction, this is an accident waiting to happen as cars are driving thru it far too fast.

Council ref: ENQ19847625

  • The road is yet again flooded and the "flood" signs that had been placed there previously have been removed, without the flooding problem being fixed.

  • This end of Brashfield Road has flooded ever since a block of flats was built which replaced a bungalow with a large garden. Now the water has no where to go. The flooding has got worse in recent years. I think the drain cannot cope with the amount of water and needs to be investigated.
