Removable bollard broken

Reported anonymously at 08:42, Thursday 14 November 2019

Sent to Oxford City Council and Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

There is a removable bollard at the corner of Meadow Lane and Fairacres Road. Last night it was damaged in an incident involving the police and it can no longer be put safely in place - the base has been damaged and if stood up it is at risk of falling over. This is dangerous as the bollard is cast iron and extremely heavy - it could seriously injure someone. I've removed it for now but this opens the end of Meadow Lane.

  • Update: we have managed to remove the broken base so the bollard can now be reinserted. It still needs attention.
