This alleyway off laburnum road is very slippery due to falling leaves (at Laburnum road end). There are also a lot of shrubbery that needs cutting back to enable two people to pass safely. (Yarnells hill end)

  • Thank you for your report. I have visited the site pinpointed on the map, see photos. I can confirm that this hedge obstructing the link footway is private vegetation, the responsibility of the residents of ‘Old Cleeve’ 20 Yarnells Hill, Botley. They have been sent a letter, asking them to cut back their hedge overgrowing Larch Close to Yarnells Hill link footway, within 28 days of receipt.

Regarding the leaves on the footway. Clearing leaves from the footway and carriageway is not the responsibility of Oxfordshire County Council. It is the responsibility of the Vale of White Horse District Council. You need to contact them at.
