4 street lights now not working and several lights are obstructed by overgrowing street trees.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

The lighting levels in this street are a disgrace! The street is unsafe at night. At least four lamps not working and several lamps are obstructed by overgrown street trees, including Fowler Road at the junction with grimsbury Green/Webb Close.

This situation has been ongoing and worsening since initial reporting in February!

Perhaps getting the local press along might shame the County Council into some action?!

  • Ref:00362871 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

  • Lamps number 7 and 8 not working (again) and NOTHING, has been done about the trees obstructing the lights in grimsbury Green and at the bottom J/W Longworth Close. The lights are next to useless by being covered by trees. I have been asking about this for months. Do I have to contact the local press to get some action? or a County Councillor?
