Damaged Sunk Manholes at entrance to Ock Mews, Abingdon, OX14 5AY
Reported in the Manhole category anonymously at 16:56, Tuesday 12 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
There are two drains/manholes at the entrance to Ock Mews which is off Ock Street in Abingdon which have been damaged and as a result sunk in the ground. The grilled cover on the drain was caused as a result of the last time the gully cleaner attended to clear it out. The cover got caught up in the lorry/vehicle leaving the resulatant damage. The other drain on the main Ock Street road in front of Ock Mews, was damaged as a result of one of the fairground rides being positioned on it this year, the weight caused it to drop. Both are considered potential trip hazards.
