FERRISTON I wonder if you could let me know who I need to get in touch with regarding Street Lighting? I live in a small close/cul-de-sac in Ferriston. There are 7 Terraced houses and they are behind a huge brick wall. In the 7 houses 5 are elderly people. When its dark outside there is no lighting....its gets very dark especially as the front of the houses are kitchens so their lights are not always on. I walk with a crutch plus there is someone else who has difficulty in walking too... All it needs is for one of us to fall and break a hip /leg...I have already had a fall so I don't want another one.. The road Highlands is next to us and the street light faces to the road, which is correct, but could you add another lamp to it so it faces in to Ferriston/cul-de-sac/close .. It wouldn't be too near to the terraced houses as there is a small playing field which it would shine into but it would give light to the path leading up to the terraces. I have seen other paths around Hardwick with street lights...

Please could you look into this as its quite scary and very dark in the evenings and like I said 5 of the terraces house are occupied by OAP's. Many thanks for reading this email. Please do not hesitate to get in touch. Look forward to hearing from you.
