Flooding, drainage, potholes, road debris
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category by Peter Gilbert at 17:57, Mon 11 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
The Lane from Foscot to Foxholes floods regularly. The grips are blocked along the whole road, so water that floods out of the fields is trapped on the road and forms a 10o+ metre stream along the road. The floods hide the various potholes and broken edges to the road, making them even more hazardous . And the floods leaves debris from the broken road and from the verges, again resulting in a hazard. The shape of the road needs re-engineering.

I understand why the lane to our few houses is given a lower priority than some of the more densly populated areas of our County, but two weeks on nothing has been done to remedy our problems, so after only a modest rainfall in the last 24 hours the only access to our hamlet is again flooded. Perhaps not as bad as it has been, but still bad enough to hide the damaged road surface.
