Inconsistent road signs

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 14:35, Saturday 9 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

The speed limit sign directly on leaving Moreton village shows the national speed limit, whereas the sign heading towards the village, as soon as you turn off the A329, shows the speed limit from Moreton Road/A329 junction to the village as 30mph.

  • I won't be in that area for a while to obtain photos, but one set of speed limit signs are on either side of the road into Moreton village, right at its junction with the A329 Milton Common Road.

The other speed limit signs are just outside the village itself (indicated on the map), either side of the road, near to a T junction in the village. The centre of the junction is a triangular area of grass.
