Very poor lighting on Roger Dudman Road outside Cooperative Childcare and metal bridge no far from the place.

Reported in the Street lighting category anonymously at 21:04, Thursday 7 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

The lighting in the part of road from outside the Cooperative Childcare is very poor. One of my work colleagues picks her kid up there on bicycle and poor lighting is making it very hard to see clearly when putting her kid on the bike.

In addition, as one heading from the Childcare towards Botley Road, the part of road where the bridge (protected by metal) overlooking the rive, the lighting is almost non-exist.

I cycle that road everyday and in the early dark winter days, apart from worrying myself might hit any uneven part of the road or worse a pothole, I'm also more fearful for any parents including my work colleague when they walk with their small kids or having one on the bike.

Please provide good lighting in these areas as high priority. Other sections of the same road have better lighting than areas as mentioned above. I don't know how long the issue has been but can see one related issue has been reported on the same road.
