Junction warning sign invisible and needs reinstating
Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 11:02, Thu 7 November 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
This matter was first reported in August and yet has been consistently ignored and the report taken down even though it has not been resolved. The junction warning sign alerting traffic travelling from Chinnor towards Thame is completely invisible and is leaning away from the road into the ditch, so there is no warning of the junction ahead around - not helped by the slight bend in the road. This stretch of the B4445 has a known speeding problem and it is very dangerous for traffic pulling out from Sydenham onto the main road at The Inn at Emmington. Please can this sign be reinstated as a matter of urgency.
