Bollard on cycle path

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 10:48, Thursday 7 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

The bollard here where the cycle path meets the corner of Wytham Street is very large and obstructive. This makes it awkward for bikes to navigate as there isn't much space on either side of it and potentially dangerous if there is a collision.

Compare with bollard at the other end of the park which is much smaller. Although, I'm not sure a bollard is required at all as the space is too narrow for a car to fit down anyway if that is its intention.

  • Also - the bollard is not very visible in the dark. If it is required then it should be reflective.
