Footpath between the end of Broad Field Road and Gravel Pits Lane, Yarnton

Sent to Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later
I am writing to request the tarmacking of a short stretch of mud footpath between the end of Broad Field Road and Gravel Pits Lane where the tarmac ends abruptly and the path turns to mud as it borders 2 gardens on each side before getting to the Gravel Pits road surface which is bumpy but navigable. There are many old people in this area so I am surprised this short stretch of path was not completed by Bellway Homes when they upgraded the path up to Gravel Pits Lane in 2002 – they even installed street lights, but the path ends abruptly and this short stretch is not navigatable by wheelchair. The only other route for them is the footpath on Sandy Lane on the opposite side of the road from Yarnton Garden Centre \, but this has so many leaves and mud on it that my 93 year old parents cannot get their wheelchairs along it from October to February. That means they are essentially housebound
