  • As an update, the road surface has now degraded and a dangerous looking pothole has formed. This will cause vehicle damage or an accident if not resolved soon.

  • The pothole has further degraded and is now very large and deep. The drain underneath has been broken by vehicles hitting the pothole when pulling in on the left to avoid oncoming traffic. There is significant damage to the drive and surrounds at Shortlands Stud due to flooding from the drain. 10 tonnes of gravel was delivered on 30/11/19 to replace drive gravel washed away. The field adjoining the roadside is significantly flooded & under a foot of water. There are livestock in this field. This requires immediate rectification to avoid further substantial damage to property and vehicles.
