20mph signs are filthy and almost illegible

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 17:24, Sat 2 November 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later

At the central entrance to the southern slip road of Sunderland Ave, both the 20mph signs are filthy and barely legible. This needs fixing as a matter of urgency, as the slip road is blighted by frequent very fast rat-running, and possibly this is caused by lack of clarity that it is a 20mph zone.

The same also applies to the 20mph signs at the eastern end of the southern slip road.

  • Nothing has been done. The 20mph signs are now even more dirty. Such filthy signs on a main road used by heavy traffic reflects extremely badly on the County Council. They need cleaning urgently.
