From northcourt road to south ave all road surfaces (top layer of tarmac falling out in large patches, plus deep pothole at top of holland road) are bumpy and lethal on a bike, and very bumpy in a car-- as are all roads (and paths) in abingdon.

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
The surfaces of the area above , which are very thin, are falling out in chunks as badly redone 3 or 4 years ago, also the pothole ( filled in once} is now larger and deeper than it was when they filled it last time.at the junction of holland road and south avenue, --very dangerous when full of rainwater. as is on the left hand side of road as you turn into south ave.

Northcourt Road is now blocked at one end to traffic, with each part of it being looked at for gas pipes! -- for the next 2 or 3 monthsI ,When I have been past I rarely see anyone actually working. The local schools have had to send notices to parents of children in the 2 schools and the college, about the chaos this will cause--- why not do it in the summer holidays? I also saw a sign on Oxford Road saying a road --not named-- would be closed for "patching" ! which indicates to me more bumps and sinking surfaces in future. Does no_one from the council check what exactly is { or is not ) being done ? I do not have the time or energy to keep commenting on the progress - or lack of it- or take photos.
