Road in poor state due to flooding from unmaintained residents trees causing blocked drain.
Reported in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 14:49, Mon 28 October 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later
Church Lane, between, the houses, Calne and Wickets is in disrepair due to constant water damage. The flooding has been caused by overhanging 30m high fir trees that are poorly maintained and protruding half way across the road and dropping their pine needles. The pine needs (orange in picures) then block the drain and flooding occurs. This has been going on for years and nothing despite previous complaints has had any action taken. The roots from the trees have done inevitable damage to the drainage system and the road. The rest of the road is in a decent state so therefore proves that these trees are the main problem.
