Existing broken street light reported as fixed and clearly isn't.
Reported via Android in the Street lighting category by Duncan Wright at 18:08, Fri 25 October 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
The pedestrian walkway light at the south east rear of my house (8 Arundel Close) is not working. This causes a large portion of the pedestrian pavement to be in the dark in an area which is surrounded by large trees and therefore makes the walkway unsafe. Reported several weeks ago. The report was removed from Fix my Street after I was sent an email stating "the issue has been fixed". I hope that these reports are not just being removed from this app to help with statistics.

Ref:00360286 Thank you for your report, OCC are now responding to out of lights within the contracted timescales of attending site within 7 days for repairs. If there is a cable fault this will be passed to the Electricity company to repair and will take longer, it will depend on the resources which the District Service Operator has. Thank you

Still waiting for this to be fixed. Reported 6 Oct and again on 24 Oct after the initial report was closed as fixed when it wasn't. Very dissatisfied as the response said this would be fixed in 1-3 weeks. Poor service.

Still not fixed. Initially reported on 6 Oct and still no progress. Hopefully our local MP will once again get involved with these matters now that the election is over and he is not on the campaign trail.

I have looked into your past reports, and it appears that the issue is unresolved because the wrong light was reported on the internal system, as this one is listed under a different road than Arundel on our system. Thank you for the number and photo, that was helpful in locating. To my knowledge, I have located the correct light now and the issue should be resolved soon. Please feel free to update us if that is not the case.
Thank you
