Bulls hole Motorbikes

Reported anonymously at 11:30, Friday 25 October 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council and South Oxfordshire District Council 5 minutes later

I wish to follow up on you saying the bars cannot be replaced because of buggies and wheelchairs. Many years ago as a young Mum I took my buggy under those bars on a daily basis to walk my dog. It was not difficult. Is it not dangerous for a young child or dog to meet a motorbike on a narrow pathway whilst running loose?

  • The council have decided that they cannot replace the barriers because of buggies using the footpath. I managed to get a buggy through the barrier when it was up before and feel a motorbike approaching when dogs and toddlers are running free is dangerous. It is a narrow and winding path and then a tunnel.
