Overgrown Trees masking street lights

Reported in the Street lighting category by Kevin Wallis at 12:51, Thu 24 October 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

Overgrown trees alongside the Southern Road Recreation Ground are obscuring the street lights, making it too dark in places for pedestrians to see where they are walking.

Updates

  • I forgot to add that, given there is sheltered accommodation for elderly people living opposite, this might make it difficult or worrying for them to go out in the evenings.

  • Without the leaves on the trees this is less of a problem, but come spring the branches need cutting back. Also, one of the lamps is very dull and does need some attention - the one nearest the Southern Road roundabout.
