Pothole: 15 inches wide and 6 inches deep on southeast area of road

Reported in the Pothole category anonymously at 09:21, Thu 24 October 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Someone could be killed in the dark here. This very deep and wide pothole is exactly where a motorcyclist would be traveling on Westfield Road. On a car it could rip the tyre and trap a wheel, making the car swerve.

Council ref: ENQ19845879

  • There are now serious large potholes in both directions on Westfield Road which need urgent repair and smaller ones appearing. There is no way to avoid them in the morning when the road is busy with cars going both ways. My tyre has been ruined due to the pothole causing a side bulge in the wall of my tyre. Please address these immediately before there is a serious accident.

  • I hit the pothole along this section and it shredded my tyre, I was stuck there during evening rush hour on 27/1/2020 with lorries and cars flying past. Very dangerous for someone stranded at night.
