The drains are blocked and the road floods
Reported in the Blocked Drain / Gully category anonymously at 22:59, Thu 17 October 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 2 minutes later
The road floods and vehicles coming from Bledlow come over the hill to meet a flooded road. Very dangerous as vehicles try to negotiate the floods. Lorries do not slow down and cars are deluged in water, mud and debris. I fear that there will be a fatality before long. Been reported before. This needs urgent attention. It is not fixed.

This has been previously reported and ignored. The road is unlit and cars coming from the Princes Risborough direction cannot see this flood as it is in a hidden dip, they are often met with cars in the middle of the road trying to negotiate the flood. Two drains are blocked causing flooding around 6-10 inches deep along at least 20ft of road. Unable to provide photographs of flood as there is no safe place to stop. This area of road floods with any rain fall. Heavy rain only increases the severity of the flood and the water does not drain away for days.

This was originally reported over a year ago in February 2019. The two surface water drains are stills totally blocked and nothing has been done to improve conditions. This is nothing to do with the amount of rain that is falling, it is simply two surface water drains that are completely blocked with mud and need to be cleared. A simple gully clearance will solve the issue and make the road safely passable
