Urgent work required to bramble hedge on OCC land
Reported in the Grass category by Chakgrove Parish Council - Jo Murphy at 11:22, Thu 17 October 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 3 minutes later
I am chasing work that has been required for over a year.
Email sent 15th October 2019: "Morning, Further to the request below, I have made several attempts to chase the work below but have had no response. A couple of months ago we noticed workers clearing the land, however they didn't really tackle the large bramble that grows there as we had requested. It is leaning against, pushing over and growing through and over the fences. Can this bramble be removed or cut very short and maintained along with the general maintenance that happens there? I look forward to hearing from you"
Original email sent 3rd October 2018 (last year) "I believe that OCC Highways owns a piece of land on French Laurence Way, Chalgrove - marked in red on the attached picture. The shrubbery on said land is causing problems for the resident of 6d Chapel Lane, directly behind the land. Their fence has been damaged due to the overgrown shrubbery and they wish for it to be cut back. Please can you let me know timescales of when the work can be done. Much appreciated."
Many thanks, JO MURPHY Clerk Chalgrove Parish Council Office: 01865 890432
