Reported in the Drainage category by Sarah Tipple at 14:31, Wed 16 October 2019
Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 6 minutes later
Dear Sirs Ten years ago OCC dug a drainage system through the car park of Harpsden Village Hall which fed into a trench, which OCC also dug, through the field at the back of Hall and dug an outfall pond at the end of the field. The reason for this was to help the flow of the inevitably large amount of water in the Harpsden Valley as all the rainwater from the steep roads and hills surrounding it are channelled through the drains in the road. The drains and the trench have become blocked recently and the village hall car park is experiencing frequent flooding. Please could you arrange to unblock these drains as a matter of urgency now? Many thanks Yours faithfully Sarah Tipple Clerk to the Trustees of the Village Hall
