Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later
The road from Hornton to the south is in a very poor state and getting worse. There are potholes, broken verges and cracked and rutted road surface for most of the way. The stretch from the 164 spot height to the T junction is particularly bad. As this road is the main access to Wroxton and Banbury, it carries a considerable amount of traffic. In addition to resident and non resident private vehicles, it serves school buses, construction traffic, tractors with trailers and multiple mobile homes attending the frequent large motor cycle scramble track functions. The school, the popular pub, cycle events starting and finishing in the village and walking groups all add to the extensive vehicle traffic. Please can this whole road be examined with a view to substantial improvement badly needed. Photos to follow.
