Owner Has Ignored OCC Vegetation Notice

Reported in the Grass and Hedges category by Marc Thielke at 17:50, Tuesday 15 October 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 5 minutes later

Prior report reference number 1767389. Plot number ON266890, Chilgrove and Camp Road.

As of October 15 no work had been done.

The overgrown vegetation is making turning off Chilgrove to Camp hazardous. The existing’sharp turn ahead’ sign is obscured. The parish would also like to mount a VAS sign on a lamppost. The hedge is also narrowing the road for HGV traffic and pedestrians on the road verge are less safe.

Thank you for following this up.

  • Thank you for your report. We have assessed it and found that it does not currently meet the criteria for intervention as it looks like the farmer has trimmed this section of hedging back to the highways boundary line and it is not effecting the carriageway now. this report is now closed. regards.

    State changed to: Investigation complete
