These traffic lights are causing major congestion and no work appears to be taking place. They are on a bend in the road and sooner or later someone is going ignore the lights and hit an oncoming vehicle.

As mentioned by others, a number of days ago the lights stuck on red (on the approach to Brackley) with very long tailbacks. Traffic had to creep around the red light onto the blind bend and I saw a near head on collision. People are also starting to ignore the lights now.

What on earth is going on with this manhole cover? We are now in the fourth week of this repair, all that has been done in this time is someone has scraped around the manhole cover. Surely there is another one lying around somewhere that can replace this one. These “Temporary traffic lights “ are a real problem on this road as there is not a clear line of sight between them due to the curve in the road.
