Both drains either side of Merton Way at this point are full of water to within two inches of the grid. Both have considerable depth of leaves and silt. As a consequence this past weekend the road was flooded full width very close to the junction.

Both drains have considerable depth of leaves consequently rainwater cannot drain away causing kerb to kerb flooding.
