Near miss for golfers crossing Abingdon Road.

Reported in the Road Traffic Signs and Road Markings category anonymously at 10:56, Friday 11 October 2019

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 4 minutes later

As part of the use of one of the golf courses at our facility golfers and members of staff must cross the Abingdon Rd about 50m away from the junction with the A338. Recently we had a near miss when customers were crossing the road and a car came around the corner fast and had to brake quickly to avoid a collision. The crossing is slightly blind to motorists coming from both directions and there can be over 200 crossings by golfers and staff per day. Could measured be put in place to minimise the risk of an accident?
