Raised and subsided paving stone(s)

Immediately outside the Red Lion Pub in The Square, Eynsham, where the High Street does a small 'chicane' heading West, the road branches left to go round the south side of the Bartholomew Room in the centre of The Square, passing in front of the Red Lion. There is a raised 'stone' edging which is now suffering damaged edges, and which sticks up above the general road surface and is now also a trip hazard as it is also on the line of the footpath that crosses East to West at that point. There is also a little subsidence adjacent to it. I recall there was a similar problem in the same location a few years ago. Please make sure that it is replaced with a matching 'stone' edging as this is in the centre of the Conservation Area and in the village's historic Square. It has been like this for about a couple of weeks and now unfortunately has damaged edges. The 'stone' is meant to be completely flush with the surrounding surfaces. It is approximately 600mm long x 150/200mm wide

This raised stone is now proud of the surface by approx 3" and poses a trip risk to pedestrians and also a risk to cyclists who make be dismounted by this if they catch their wheel on it.
